Abstract:As the additional injection type hybrid active power filter(IHAPF) may exist fundamental circulation between the active part and fundamental harmonic branch, a novel topology of injection type hybrid active power filter is proposed to enhance the safety of IHAPF in the paper. Firstly, this paper discusses the principle of fundamental circulation, and proposes a novel topological structure of IHAPF which can improve the safety of system. Secondly, this paper discusses the advantage of the novel structure on harmonic voltage of series resonant subcircuit and harmonic current of parallel resonant subcircuit. Finally, Simulation and experimental results indicate that the structure can effectly solve the problem of great reactive power compensation and harmonic suppression in high voltage system, as well as fundamental circulation suppression in traditional injected circuit structure.Therefore the safe reliability is greatly improved.
