Abstract：The rotor and stator skew for electrical machines were analysed with 3D FEM software and the calculating works are very large. The problem of skew simulation is considered in EasiMotor software — a FEM software based on multi-slices method. The simulation in Flux 10.3, and the experimental result verifies the validity of the method. The calculated accuracy brought by slice method and the slice number are also discussed in this paper.
