Reactive Power Optimization for Distribution System With Distributed Generators

Abstract:By integrating the reactive power of the distributed generators (DGs) to be the control variables, the reactive power optimization problem in distribution power system with DGs is discussed. Multi-agent immune algorithm based on the mechanism of antibody cluster and compete expansion is proposed to solve the reactive power optimization problem. Its model based on multi-agent immune algorithm is established. The antigens could be changed dynamically as quickly as it could in the process of searching for the best solution due to the efficient multi-agent system. To quickly obtain the global optimum and local optimum, this algorithm adopts the ideas of antibody cluster, compete expansion and antibody mixed mutation in the process of affinity maturation. Through those operators, the variety of antibody is enhanced. Simulation is carried out based on a modified IEEE 33-bus system, and the results show the efficiency and quickness of the algorithm.
