A Calculation Method of Harmonic Propagation Considering the Uncertainty of Distributed Generation

Abstract：A novel method of harmonic propagation considering the uncertainty of renewable energy generation is proposed in this paper. It first establishes the affine-based harmonic model of DGs considering the uncertainty of output and the relation to the harmonic. Then it solves the fundamental power flow by Ybus-Gauss iteration and computes the harmonic currents and voltage iteratively until convergence. Its effectiveness and correctness are verified by compared with Monte Carlo and interval arithmetic harmonic power flow algorithm in IEEE 33-bus system. In addition, the amplitude uncertainty and phase uncertainty of the DG affecting the total harmonic distortion of bus voltage are analyzed.
