Abstract：To improve the performance of switched reluctance generators at medium and low speeds,an off-line control parameters optimization method for switched reluctance generators is proposed in this paper.The maximum output power,the system efficiency and the torque smoothing coefficient are considered as the optimization objectives.The influences of turn-on angle,turn-off angle and reference current on each optimization objective are analyzed.The optimal control parameters of each single-objective optimization are obtained.Then,a multi-objective optimization function is determined with given weight coefficients to optimize control parameters.Finally,experimental results show that the optimal control parameters obtained by the proposed optimization method can improve the performance of switched reluctance generators at medium and low speeds.
